Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Healthcare Consultant - Analytic Consulting Services applies their knowledge and expertise to gather and define the requirements of analytic request, which is then used to provide targeted analytic solutions to the business problems of internal and external stakeholders. This individual fully owns the client data requests of Sales, Clinical, and other users of Analytic Consulting Services. They serve as the main contact for the client account team for all aspects of client related analytic consulting. This person primarily supports client work assignments and analytic requests of moderate to high complexity.Essential Responsibilities-Analyzes and translates business, data, functional, and client requirements into analytic and reporting requirements, data models and deliverables for all but the most complex projects by participating in business client and project team discussions.-Constructs and executes more complex SQL/SAS queries and reviews data results to discover data patterns for analytic projects of moderate to high complexity.-Within a defined area of responsibility, updates and maintains simple data models and other analytic deliverables at multiple levels of detail and functionality.-Demonstrates deep knowledge of tools and processes required to help drive data analysis modeling requests.-Provides expertise in a focused market segment of our PBM business (i.e. Employer, Health Plan, etc.) through analysis and understanding of business needs.-Applies a broad knowledge of programs, services and solutions of CVS Caremark to help meet client analytic needs.-Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of the processes and practices of Analytic Consulting Services.-Provides business knowledge and support for managing data related requests across a more broad range analytic offerings provided by ANCS.-Uses appropriate data analysis tools and techniques to elicit and define requirements that address analytic requests or data projects of more moderate complexity to high complexity.-Analyzes data requirements and creates or contributes to report or data model development, leveraging more advance technical skills. May help develop or design more customized ad-hoc analytic models for clients.-May assist with planning for analytic or data projects of moderate to high complexity.-Follows a rigorous data quality review plan and peer review process to ensure accuracy of data deliverables for work assignments of moderate to high complexity.-Leads information gathering sessions with account teams and with clients.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 43,700Maximum: 100,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications-Demonstrated experience using business analytics to problem solve data-driven questions-Aptitude to communicate complex analytic findings and conclusions in an easy to understand way-Ability to collaborate with and influence clients and customers to develop analytic models, methodologies and reports that support CVS Caremark products and services-Experience extracting, manipulating, and analyzing Big Data (databases containing multiple terabytes of data) and then using it to draw relevant conclusions-Ability to appropriately prioritize competing client requests to ensure focus on highest impact activities-Capability to conduct data analyses using basic and advanced skills in statistics and database management-Ability to interact with others in a collegial and professional manner; leverage team resources to support assigned clients; and help foster teamwork and knowledge sharing to complete key tasks-Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment and manage tight deadlines-Occasional travel to client site to participate in client meetings may be requiredPreferred Qualifications-Experience with SAS or other statistical and databasesoftware, including STATA, SPSS, R, and SQL highlyEducation-Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a field relatedto finance, mathematics, operations, statistics, actuarialscience, epidemiology, marketing research, accounting,economics or other data related fields-Equivalent Combination of education and experiencemay be consideredBusiness OverviewBring your heart to CVS Health Every one of us at CVS Health shares a single, clear purpose: Bringing our heart to every moment of your health.
