Open Until FilledTruck DriverOur high-performing team requires a variety of skilled tasks, primarily operating and servicing trucks, transports, and specialized wheeled equipment. You'll be instrumental in constructing, maintaining, and repairing our county roads and service systems. This includes operating snow removal and sanding equipment to ensure safe travel, applying ice control materials at intersections, curves, hills, and railroad crossings. You'll also respond to sporadic and urgent seasonal call-outs for tasks like plowing snow, repairing road damage, and removing materials from roadways. The minimum requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent, plus a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). We also require two years of experience in similar duties. We'll consider an equivalent combination of education and experience. You must be flagger certified or be able to obtain certification. A Tanker endorsement may also be required.The typical schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM. This full-time position offers $24.48 an hour, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.
