Job Title: General Ledger (GL) Manager Location: Stoughton, MA Schedule: Full-Time | Hybrid — Onsite for initial training, then 2 days in-office / 3 days remote Salary: $100,000/yearJob Description:We are seeking an experienced General Ledger Manager to join a mission-driven nonprofit in Stoughton, MA. This role is responsible for overseeing all general ledger operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), while ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting aligned with GAAP standards.You will lead month-end and year-end close processes, maintain ledger integrity, manage journal entries, and support a small team of accountants and AP staff. Close collaboration with payroll, billing, and financial operations teams is key.Key Responsibilities:Manage and execute monthly and year-end financial closePrepare, review, and approve journal entries and reconciliationsEnsure integrity of the general ledger and GAAP complianceOversee AP operations: vendor payments, coding, approvals, and disbursementsMonitor AP aging, enforce internal controls, and maintain policy complianceGenerate monthly internal reports and perform variance analysisPartner with CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planningSupport ERP upgrades, testing, and process documentationSupervise, train, and develop accounting and AP staffIdentify and implement process improvementsAssist with audit preparation and compliance reportingQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA a plus or in progress)5+ years of progressive accounting experience1+ year supervisory experienceStrong knowledge of GAAP and accounting operationsProficient in Microsoft Excel and Office applicationsCompensation & Benefits:Salary: $100,000/yearPaid Time Off: 25 days annually + 14 paid holidaysHealth & Wellness: Medical, Dental, FSA, HSABenefits: Life, Short-Term & Long-Term Disability coverageRetirement Plan: 403(b) with employer matchBonus eligible after 1 year of employmentPerks: Onsite gym (Stoughton), wellness programs, flexible work schedulesProfessional growth with merit raises, training, and advancement opportunitiesIf you’re a finance professional ready to lead and make an impact in a purpose-driven environment, apply today for immediate consideration!#P1 #CBAs part of our promise to talent, Kelly supports those who work with us through a variety of benefits, perks, and work-related resources.
