Responsible for rapid assessment, triage, and implementation of emergency interventions for patients of all ages. The role requires skilled use of invasive and non-invasive procedures, clear communication with patients/families, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes. The nurse educates and prepares patients for ongoing care, promotes a healing environment, and ensures safety, comfort, and trust throughout the emergency visit.
