Medical Office Clerk – Camp Lejeune, NC - BMC French Creek USGP is currently seeking a Medical Office Clerk to join our team in  supporting the health and well-being of our military service members,  veterans, and their families at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina Position Highlights Location: Camp Lejeune, NC & surrounding areas Compensation: $17.75/hour + Health & Welfare Stipend Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00a – 3:30pm (schedule could change per  base needs) | No weekends or holidays Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Paid Time Off (PTO) & Sick Leave Minimum Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Red  Cross or American Heart Association Experience: Minimum of 1 year of office experience Typing Speed: 50 WPM or higher Key Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors at the front desk or information center Answer and direct calls from the main office line; take messages as  needed Schedule and arrange medical appointments; verify patient eligibility Provide basic patient instructions and referrals to appropriate  departmentsMaintain and update patient medical records; ensure records are  complete and accurate Retrieve and file documentation requested by healthcare providers Create and manage appointment templates and schedules in the  system Conduct end-of-day procedures and resolve any pending or delinquent  appointments Perform general clerical and administrative duties to support patient  care operations Why Join USGP? At USGP, we are deeply committed to serving those who serve our nation.
