Other duties may be assigned.Business Growth & StrategyDevelop and execute a comprehensive new business development strategy aligned with company goals.Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.Lead strategic initiatives to expand the company’s footprint in existing and emerging markets.Sales & Revenue GenerationDrive lead generation efforts and establish relationships with key decision-makers.Develop and negotiate high-value deals, contracts, and partnerships.Oversee the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring revenue targets are met.Market Research & Competitive AnalysisAnalyze industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to inform business strategy.Identify gaps in the market and recommend innovative solutions to capture new opportunities.Provide insights and recommendations to executive leadership on growth strategies.Partnership & Relationship ManagementEstablish and nurture relationships with potential clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored proposals and presentations for new business opportunities.Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with sales, marketing, product development, and finance teams to align business development initiatives with overall company objectives.Partner with marketing to create targeted campaigns that drive lead generation and brand awareness.Collaborate with product teams to develop solutions that meet market demands.Leadership & Team DevelopmentBuild and lead a high-performing business development team.Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesMust portray strong sales and leadership skillsAnalytical skills to evaluate data and use it to make decisionsUnderstanding of market trends and adaptability to follow those trendsMotivate and influence team to achieve resultsProblem-solving and customer service skillsStrong organizational skills and strategic planningQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education And/or ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships.Proven track record of driving revenue growth and securing high-value deals.Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.Expertise in market research, competitive analysis, and sales strategy development.Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented puter And Technology SkillsThe successful candidate must be proficient in MS Office applications, SAP and or other ERP systems.Language SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. German language speaking skills is another advantage.Mathematical SkillsAbility to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and ability to apply concepts such as: fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.Reasoning AbilityAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
