Attendance is expected and fully supported.As a key member of Coinbase’s S2P Team, the Senior Sourcing Manager will oversee the process of procuring real estate and related services. Coinbase is an Equal Opportunity Employer and provides accommodations in accordance with applicable law.This description does not modify the terms of any existing policy or agreement, and is intended for recruiting purposes only.What you’ll be doing (high-level responsibilities)Team Leadership: Ensure the real estate portfolio strategy aligns with Coinbase's business needs, growth objectives, and financial targets.Strategic Leadership: Advise senior leadership on office location, space strategy, and portfolio optimization; represent Coinbase in high-stakes real estate negotiations with landlords, brokers, and developers.Vendor Management: Manage relationships with brokers, property management firms, and other vendors; ensure partnerships meet financial and compliance goals; act as escalation point for real estate issues.Risk Mitigation: Develop and deploy a portfolio-wide risk strategy; ensure compliance with legal, financial, and regulatory requirements; collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Information Security on due diligence.Stakeholder Communication: Present real estate decisions and lease terms to senior leadership; align cross-functional teams on project objectives; coordinate with Finance, Legal, HR, and IT for seamless lease execution and facility management.Continuous Improvement: Drive adoption of best practices and leverage tools/tech for market analysis, portfolio optimization, and space utilization.What we look for in you (requirements)Education & Background: Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; minimum 10+ years in strategic sourcing and project management, including 5 years in commercial real estate.Skills & Expertise: Proven ability to negotiate complex commercial real estate leases and multi-million dollar vendor contracts; strong financial modeling and market analysis; experience leading large-scale real estate projects with cross-functional teams; proficiency with real estate portfolio management software and lease administration platforms.Leadership & Communication: Advanced negotiation skills; ability to influence Legal, Finance, HR, and other teams; strong verbal and written communication with executive stakeholders.Nice to haveFamiliarity with sourcing and spend management technologies; training or experience in commercial real estate law, lease review, or contract negotiation.Experience in real estate strategies for remote-first companies; exposure to the crypto or fintech space.Pay Range: $185,215—$217,900 USD.
