Become a maker of possible with us.About the roleIn this role you will be responsible for leading and optimizing tax compliance and automation processes, with a strong emphasis on U.S. federal and state income taxes.Key responsibilitiesTax Compliance & Filings Oversee preparation and review of federal and state corporate income and franchise tax returns, including Form 1120, apportionment, filing methods, and state-specific modifications. Ensure timely and accurate compliance with all tax regulations.Tax Technology & Process Improvement Drive automation initiatives and implement tools to streamline tax processes and enhance operational efficiency.Tax Research & Legislative Analysis Monitor and analyze changes in U.S. federal and state tax laws, assess their impact on the company, and communicate findings to stakeholders.Audit & Risk Management Support federal and state audits by preparing responses, quantifying risks, and coordinating with auditors.Tax Planning & Transactions Contribute to tax planning strategies, including the integration of acquisitions, dispositions, and other business initiatives.Tax Provision & Forecasting Assist in calculating effective tax rates and support the tax provision process for year-end, quarterly forecasts, budgets, and cash tax projections.Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with finance, legal, and external advisors to ensure alignment and accuracy in tax-related ternal Controls & Optimization Maintain and enhance internal controls related to tax compliance. Identify opportunities to reduce tax liabilities and improve reporting.About youTo excel in this position, the ideal candidate should showcase strong communication abilities, along with sharp analytical skills and a strong focus on detail. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple workflows, and balancing both team collaboration and independent tasks.
