Job Description

The Senior Manager, HR Communications is responsible for executing communication strategies that enhance employee understanding and engagement with the company’s total rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, talent development, and recognition initiatives. This role ensures messaging is clear, simple, and aligned with the company’s brand and voice, supporting employee well-being and organizational goals.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and implement communication plans to support the launch and ongoing promotion of total rewards programs.Translate complex benefits and compensation information into engaging, employee-friendly content.Create communication materials such as emails, FAQs, intranet content, videos, presentations, and guides.Partner with Benefits, Compensation, Talent, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and consistent messaging.Manage annual compensation and benefits communication campaigns (e.g., enrollment, performance reviews, total compensation statements).Monitor employee feedback and communication effectiveness to improve strategies.Maintain and update content on internal and external platforms related to benefits, compensation, talent, and recognition programs.Manage email distribution using Adobe Campaigns.Oversee external vendors supporting communication activities as needed.Perform other duties as assigned by the Group Vice President, HR Communications.Required Skills/Abilities and KnowledgeHR or Internal Communication experience with demonstrated writing skills; digital experience is a plus.Experience managing vendor partners, especially graphic design and printing, to meet deadlines and budgets.Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Ability to analyze and interpret data.Attention to detail and confidentiality.Ability to prioritize, organize, and handle multiple projects.Effective communication across all management levels.Required EducationBachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.Work Experience7-10 years in HR or internal communications roles.Working ConditionsOffice environment; travel as required.Charter Communications is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority/Female/Veteran/Disability#LI-VB1HCU600 2025-58829 2025Employees at Charter build careers with comprehensive pay and benefits supporting well-being and value at every life stage.Criminal history, if any, will be considered consistent with applicable laws.Get to Know UsCharter Communications, known through Spectrum brands, serves over 31 million customers with a team of 95,000 employees across 41 states.
