Position Director of Product Marketing, Enterprise Mobile Computing (EMC) leads the strategy, development and delivery of product marketing programs in support of the go-to-market growth plans for Zebra. Primary responsibilities include leading a team of professionals and agencies to develop and execute marketing programs for not only new product introduction (NPI) programs, but also throughout their entire lifecycle. Scope reaches across every stage of the customer decision funnel for mobile computing portfolios within the business. The strategic remit of this leader requires exceptional marketing skills, keen business acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively across senior management within business units, sales organizations, and the broader global and regional marketing teams. The Director creates compelling messages, campaigns, and sales tools to differentiate our portfolio and product lines in new and exciting ways. This position is highly strategic and will set and drive our product marketing plans across the world, driving both short and long-term impact. Location & Travel: This position will be hybrid based (3 days in office) out of our Lincolnshire, IL or Holtsville, NY office. Remote work may be considered for the right candidate. Travel could be up to 25%. Responsibilities Owns, develops, and manages the global marketing GTM strategy for the introduction and lifecycle of products to drive value creation and revenue growth, ensuring alignment with product management and sales. Leads development of GTM Strategy with sales and business unit leadership, including reputation, demand creation, sales, channel enablement and market intelligence tactics. Develops annual and quarterly top-level portfolio marketing plans based on key objectives of BU’s, Regional Marketing, Vertical Marketing, Channels, and Sales; collaborates with various teams to drive execution for assigned portfolio(s). Defines a compelling market position for each segment of the EMC portfolio and evolves positioning based on market requirements and competitive landscape. Leads and nurtures a well-organized and motivated team; assigns deliverables, provides budget guidance, and drives execution of positioning, messaging, and content development for key products. Oversees global New Product Introduction (NPI) and lifecycle marketing program elements, including cross-functional alignment on roadmaps and distribution to key partners. Serves as the North America Portfolio Marketing leader for NPI and lifecycle marketing programs. Drives and leverages the Zebra product lifecycle marketing (ZLM) process for introducing new products to market across direct and indirect channels. Manages marketing aspects of end-of-life (EOL) and end-of-service (EOS) processes with BU and regional/channel marketing teams to protect customer and partner experience with the brand. Partners with other leaders to ensure Zebra portfolio representation in audience-based content and campaigns; champions portfolio-specific campaigns aligned to growth priorities. Allocates and measures ROI for a significant marketing budget and staff; serves as a direct manager and mentor. Collaborates with Global Enablement to empower sales associates and channel partners with value propositions, sales tools, and customer references to close new business. Champions cross-sell and attach marketing through web merchandising with Digital Marketing; acts as SME for Product Information Management (PIM) for the channel ecosystem. Leads representation of the Portfolio Marketing team within marketing priorities. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum qualifications: BA/BS (ideally in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or Business) 15+ years of experience, including 10+ years in a marketing department or agency (ideally with product management, product launch marketing and campaign marketing experience) and 7+ years directly managing a team/supervising others/leadership Preferred qualifications: Experience and results in B2B technology marketing with global responsibilities and familiarity with indirect sales and fulfillment channels Skilled leader with demonstrated capability in building a high-performing team Knowledge of PLM and best practices for introducing new products to market within B2B Strong business acumen with understanding of product development, channel/sales processes, systems and tools including budget management Experience in seller enablement content and program development for direct and indirect sales teams Messaging strategy, competitive positioning, and ability to simplify complex concepts Familiarity with modern account-based marketing and demand generation programs Experience across a global go-to-market operation and interaction with P&L leaders in R&D and product management Accountability for key content development, especially high-value CTA assets for awareness and demand generation Other Information Salary: USD 174,400.00 - USD 261,600.00 yearly.
