OverviewJob Title: Head of Sales (Cosmetics/Beauty products)Reporting to: CEOLocation: United States – In-Office, West Hollywood, CAYour MissionThe Head of Sales will lead and direct the execution of all wholesale functions for the US and Canada and identify new global whitespace opportunities. This role will partner with retailers to develop, plan and execute new and innovative strategies while leading continued strong sales growth. This position oversees Agency Field Sales teams, Regional Field Sales teams, their network of Beauty Advisors, as well as the Retail Excellence and Education teams. The Head of Sales ensures the seamless execution of retail and clienteling strategies across all locations, delivering a best-in-class brand presence and client experience while achieving business and financial targets. This position is responsible for managing, growing, developing and mentoring the wholesale team, spearheading Education program, as well as visual merchandising. In addition, the Head of Sales will be a strong cross functional partner across every department within the organization.Key Measures of SuccessLeadership: Inspire, energize, and develop teams to achieve the overall company strategy. Attract, develop, and retain high performing and diverse talent.Strategic ApproachResponsible for overall brand account strategies and account performance to support growth and gain brand awareness; sets overall vision and strategy for Account Leads and Sales Planning while partnering with Marketing, Creative, Product Development, Operations & Finance. Provide expertise in the New Product Development cycle to identify key product attributes that drive pricing and maximize profitability. Collaborate with Marketing to execute campaigns, trade marketing plans, masterclasses, services, and events. Understand Sephora and retailer programming dynamics and local market nuances to optimize retail sales. Negotiate and align business plans with retail partners and the global brand vision. Focus on in-store productivity and whitespace opportunities. Drive omnichannel integration. Partner with Marketing on co-op calendars.Retail Excellence And OperationsEnsure teams deliver a best-in-class luxury client experience. Manage sales operations for FBB network including inventory management, loss prevention, security, and compliance with operational protocols. Define targets by retailer and by door, provide reporting tools, and establish KPIs. Partner with Marketing to provide tools and communication flows to drive sales. Leverage client analytics to inform Field teams and drive loyalty.EducationDevelop and implement education strategies to enhance team skills, product knowledge, and operational expertise. Oversee creation and facilitation of training programs, including online Beauty Advisor training and internal content. Foster leadership of specialist communities to elevate expertise. Deploy axis expertise to ensure knowledge consistency across locations and campaigns.FinancialOwns overall P&L for accounts including the retail sales budget, co-op, freelance, promo, sampling, sets and CAPEX; maximizes ROI and ensures spending is within budget. Use NPD/Circana data to forecast future launches and sales trends by category.Your Profile8+ years of sales leadership experience with a minimum of 6 years in the beauty/cosmetics wholesale industry. 5+ years of direct P&L ownership across multiple retailers/channels in a high growth environment. Direct exposure and strong relationships with Sephora, Amazon and other key domestic and global beauty retailers. Strong multitasking, discretion, collaboration, entrepreneurial drive, and organizational skills. Proficiency in NetSuite, Canva, Excel.
