Overview Job Title: Head of Sales (Cosmetics / Beauty products) Location: United States — In-Office, West Hollywood, CA Reporting to: CEO Your Mission: The Head of Sales will lead and direct the execution of all wholesale functions for the US, Canada and identify new global whitespace opportunities. This role will partner with retailers to develop, plan and execute new and innovative strategies while leading continued strong sales growth. This position oversees Agency Field Sales teams, Regional Field Sales teams, their network of Beauty Advisors (BAs), as well as the Retail Excellence and Education teams. The Head of Sales ensures the seamless execution of retail and clienteling strategies across all locations, delivering a best-in-class brand presence and client experience while achieving business and financial targets. This position is responsible for managing, growing, developing and mentoring the wholesale team, spearheading Education program, as well as visual merchandising. In addition, the Head of Sales will be a strong cross functional partner across every department within the organization. Strategic Approach Responsible for overall brand account strategies and account performance to support growth and gain brand awareness; sets overall vision and strategy for Account Leads and Sales Planning while partnering with Marketing, Creative, Product Development, Operations & Finance Provides expertise in the New Product Development cycle to identify key product attributes that drive pricing and maximize profitability / product margin Collaborate with the Marketing team to execute campaign roll-out by axis, trade marketing plans, masterclasses, services, and events that strengthen brand-client relationships and support sales Strong comprehensive understanding of Sephora & retailer programming dynamics in addition to local market & corporate nuances that drive product / category / merchandising to optimize retail sales Ability to negotiate and align business plans and activities with all retail partners and the global brand vision Strong focus on in-store productivity driving year over year step function improvements Able to balance multiple relationships and workload across retailers while optimally identifying whitespace retail opportunities Drive integration of B&M accounts and into one consistent omnichannel customer experience Partner with Marketing to generate a focused company view on marketing and co-op calendars Retail Excellence and Operations Ensure teams are equipped to deliver a best-in-class luxury client experience across all points of sale Manage sales operations and logistics for FBB network, including inventory management, loss prevention, security, and compliance with operational protocols Define targets by retailer and by door and provide Field teams reporting tools to track and drive performance. Define metrics and KPIs by door, ensure consistency and efficiencies across regions Partner with Marketing to identify needs and equip field teams with right tools and communication flows to drive sales Leverage client analytics to inform Field teams about clients KPIs, improve top line with right mix by axis, driving recruitment, retention and loyalty Education Develop and implement education strategies to enhance team skills, product knowledge, and operational expertise Oversee the creation and facilitation of training programs, including online Beauty Advisor training and internal education app content, as well as in person programs, in partnership with Field Teams and Account Development to support strategy by Retailer Foster the leadership and development of specialist communities (e.g., Makeup Artists, Fragrance Specialists, Skincare Specialists) to elevate expertise and performance Direct the deployment of axis expertise to ensure consistent knowledge and execution across locations and partner with Marketing to support major campaigns and product launches Financial Owns overall P&L for accounts including the retail sales detailed budget, co-op, freelance, promo, sampling, sets and CAPEX; maximizes ROI and ensures that the team spends efficiently and effectively within budget Leverage internal sales trends, market and consumer trends through NPD / Circana data and develop accurate estimates for future product launches and sales trends by category and key subcategory Your Profile 8+ years of sales leadership experience with a minimum of 6 years in the beauty / cosmetics wholesale industry 5+ years of direct P&L ownership across multiple retailers / channels in a high growth environment Direct exposure and strong relationships with Sephora, Amazon and other key domestic and global beauty retailers Exhibits a keen ability to proactively handle a multitude of projects at one time. Professionally deals with confidential information and / or issues using discretion and judgment. Highly collaborative & passionate team player with a positive & professional attitude Has an entrepreneurial & a 'Go-Getter' approach, is goal-orientated and proactively drives to push the team forward. Highly organized and detail-oriented Proficiency in NetSuite, Canva, Excel. Ability to travel up to 25-35% as needed What You Will Bring To The Team You are a seasoned and respected leader with experience building, inspiring and developing a talented and diverse sales team, growing high-caliber talents, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation, creating accountability, driving sales and operational excellence You are a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate insights and numbers into actionable plans, and build support among diverse corporate functions You have a client-centric and retail mindset, ideally with experience in both retail and MBR / Lease You are a leader with a strongly-informed point of view, who is diplomatic, yet persuasive and who can support and evolve initiatives in a highly competitive and constantly evolving landscape, aware of US distribution landscape and retail partners dynamics You are energized when connecting corporate and field / retail teams, transforming strategies into action plans, to drive sales performance and in-store excellence at every level You are able to build strong partnerships with retailers' teams at regional and local level You have a deep passion for fragrance and beauty categories, with a strong affinity for our brand's values and aesthetic Position Logistics : Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business or a related field Minimum 8+ years in sales ideally within beauty and / or best in class brands Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with a keen eye for detail and storytelling, and the ability to engage large audiences around a vision and business ambition Strong financial, analytical, organizational, and analysis skills Partially Remote : Role requires a minimum of three days in-person office presence in the LA office and ability to travel at least 25% of time company reserves the right to edit, change, or make exceptions on designations where circumstances where deemed appropriate. #J-18808-Ljbffr
