Focused on enhancing wellness and quality of life, the Youth Care Worker ensures that the residents' basic personal, physical, emotional, spiritual, mental, educational, and social needs are comprehensively addressed.ResponsibilitiesCarry out the daily operational duties and supervise residents in their regular activitiesAssist residents with any difficulties related to day-to-day issues at Dayspring Residential Treatment Centre and ensure their welfare and safetyPromote discipline among the residents and be a mentor/role model to themAssess, respond and handle crises or conflictsCarry out individual therapeutic interventions based on care plans by treatment teamParticipate in providing physical, emotional, spiritual, mental, educational, and social needs of residentsRequirementYouth Mentors are required to work with young beneficiaries with complex traumaWith experience in working with youth at-riskWith basic processing and counselling skillsWith knowledge of common issues and disorders that appears in trauma and abuseWilling to work on 3-shift rotations and over weekend/Public HolidaysThe Supreme HR Advisory Pte.
