Job Title: Front Desk- Registration Clerk (PRN Temporary/ Seasonal) Fast paced ambulatory surgical center looking for an individual that is outgoing, energetic, hard-working and loves helping people. You will be responsible for welcoming patients and families, physicians, and other visitors to the center. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Greet and check-in patients * Maintaining current demographic and insurance information into the facility computer software * Scan and save documentation necessary for surgical procedures * Collect co-pay/co-insurance payments, and assist patients as needed * Receive and direct incoming calls * Distribute mail, messages, and assemble patient charts. * Other duties include collecting payments and any other necessary duties.
