Must have an understanding of chemistry to mix the appropriate compounds for the job Apply paint using a variety of techniques and tools such as spray equipment, airbrushes, stencils, roller, or brushes. Paint may need to be applied on primers, prefinishes, and finishing coatings. May need to use special safety equipment such as self-contained suits, protective eyewear. Must keep the work area clean Must carefully follow all guidelines for the safe handling and disposal of hazardous chemicals and waste.
