The HR Coordinator will provide operational and compliance support within the HRIS team, with primary responsibility for unemployment claims, employment verifications, E-Verify/I-9 compliance, Virginia new hire reporting, and onboarding administration. This role will also serve as a first point of contact for employees with UKG-related questions, escalating more complex cases to the HRIS Analysts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable balancing compliance tasks with employee support. Key ResponsibilitiesCompliance & Employment Administration · Manage the unemployment claims process, including responding to requests and providing accurate documentation. · Process employment verifications, ensuring accuracy and timely turnaround. · Administer and monitor E-Verify and I-9 compliance, maintaining accurate records and conducting periodic audits. · Submit and track Virginia new hire reporting and ensure compliance with state deadlines. · Maintain accurate employee files and documentation in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.Onboarding Support · Coordinate onboarding activities for corporate and sales associates, ensuring completion of required documentation and system tasks in UKG. · Support field managers in the onboarding process by answering questions, providing guidance, and troubleshooting basic system issues. · Ensure onboarding checklists are completed accurately and on time, escalating issues to the HRIS team as needed. · Deliver a positive onboarding experience for new hires through clear communication and timely follow-up.UKG Employee Support (Level 1) · Provide Tier 1 UKG support to employees by answering basic system questions related to login, navigation, onboarding tasks, timekeeping, and self-service functions. · Escalate complex issues to the HRIS Analysts or HRIS Manager as appropriate. · Track and document support cases to identify trends and potential areas for training or process improvement.General HR Support · Assist with audits, reporting, and compliance checks as needed. · Provide administrative support to the HRIS team on projects, implementations, or system updates. · Contribute to process documentation and training materials for employee and manager self-service in UKG.Qualifications ***** 1+ year in customer service, administrative support, and HR role High School Diploma
