Job Title: Sushi Chef- Pacific Table Fort WorthAre you the right candidate for this opportunity Make sure to read the full description below.Location: Fort WorthPosition Summary:Award winning chef & restaurateur Felipe Armenta and MasterChef Graham Elliot are looking to add to their talented kitchen team.All motivated Sushi Chefs that would like to join an award-winning group should apply and become part of our culinary family.Job Responsibilities:* Prepare our dishes from scratch following the recipe to produce consistent results.* Know and comply with standard cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen practices.* Cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and a variety of other kitchen equipment.* Portion all the products, follow the recipes, and always ensure the plate presentation is aesthetically pleasing.* Follow safety and sanitation standards, make sure your workstation stays clean and organized, and follow all of the food handling standards.Qualifications* Knowledge of sushi preparation* A passion for creating unique, high-quality dishes with attention to detail* Ability to effectively lead a team of cooks and other kitchen staff* Understanding of culinary and food presentation techniques* 4 years' experience as a sushi chef* Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure* Excellent management, organization and communication skills* Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulationsJob Type: Full-timePay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hourBenefits:* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceWork Location: In person
