The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive diagnostics, repair, and maintenance. This role requires expertise in working with various automotive systems, including powertrains and electrical systems, as well as a commitment to providing excellent customer service.*Duties** Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance.* Diagnose and repair automotive issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.* Work on various vehicle systems, including transmissions, powertrain components, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).* Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and installations.* Conduct alignments and other specialized services as required.* Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.* Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's needs.* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the service department.* Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.*Experience** Previous dealership experience is highly preferred.* Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, including familiarity with GM vehicles and diesel engine repair.* Experience with automotive electrical systems, welding, and auto estimating is a plus.* A background in service technician roles or mechanic experience is essential.* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary for success in this role.
