*Job Summary*If you would like to know a bit more about this opportunity, or are considering applying, then please read the following job information.We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HVAC Production Manager to oversee and coordinate the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems across various commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, construction experience, and leadership skills to manage field service teams effectively. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of HVAC design, schematics, plumbing, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards.*Responsibilities** Lead and supervise HVAC installation projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety protocols.* Coordinate with clients, contractors, and team members to plan project timelines and resource allocation.* Review technical schematics, HVAC design plans, and schematics to ensure accurate implementation.* Oversee the installation of air conditioning systems, refrigeration units (including ammonia refrigeration), boilers, furnaces and other mechanical equipment.* Perform or assist with equipment repair, maintenance, welding, and troubleshooting of HVAC/R systems.* Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards during all phases of installation.* Maintain detailed documentation of project progress, equipment specifications, and service records.* Conduct quality control inspections to verify proper operation of installed systems.* Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety procedures and conducting regular safety meetings.*Requirements** Proven experience in construction management or as a service technician within the HVAC industry.* Strong mechanical knowledge including HVAC design, schematics interpretation, plumbing, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), boiler operation, and equipment repair.* Familiarity with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters and experience with welding or other mechanical fabrication techniques.* Ability to read blueprints and schematics related to HVAC/R systems.* Experience in field service operations involving appliance repair, property maintenance, or air conditioning systems.* Knowledge of HVAC/R codes and safety standards.* Valid driver's license is required* Additional skills such as mechanic experience or expertise in ammonia refrigeration are advantageous.* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively under tight deadlines.
