The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair, mechanical knowledge, and experience with various automotive tools and equipment. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. The Auto Body Technician will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition while ensuring customer satisfaction.*Duties** Work directly with our Parts manager to fully disassemble a vehicle that's been damaged and confirm all damaged parts are reported.* Perform auto body repairs including dent removal and panel replacement.* Utilize MIG welding techniques and Techna spot welding for repairs and fabrication of metal components.* Use hand tools and power tools for repairs and replacement of damaged parts.* Be very thorough with repairs to make sure repairs are completed properly and to OEM procedures.* Replace auto glass as required by the job specifications.* Lift heavy materials and components safely while adhering to safety protocols in the workshop environment.*Requirements** Previous auto body repair experience.* Proficiency in MIG welding, fabrication, soldering, and sheet metal work is essential.* Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair .* Familiarity with detailing techniques and auto painting processes is a plus.* Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, and automotive equipment safely and effectively.* Experience in heavy lifting as required by the demands of the job.* Excellent communication skills with management on job status.* A valid driver's license is required for test driving vehicles post-repair.
