This is owner Jill and Adam's third restaurant in their 30 year career. We are hands on owners who support our staff through the most challenging shifts. Our menu is eclectic, drawing from foods we like to eat, seasonality, etc. We welcome new ideas and additions to the menu. We strive to be innovative and provide excitement to our guests.We are looking for chefs to round out our team on the line. Let me know if you're interested in learning more.Responsibilities:- Assist the Head Chef in overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen- Manage food preparation and ensure high-quality standards are met- Collaborate with the kitchen crew to create and execute menus/specials. Menus change frequently and additions are always welcome.- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations- Assist in developing new recipes and menu items- Coordinate with staff for organizing banquet and catering eventsSkills:- Safe food handling knowledge- Proficient in various aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating presentation- Experience in navigating a fast-paced kitchen environment, including time management- Strong line skills with attention to quality- Strong organizational and time management skills- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlinesNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
