About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Underground Operator 1 to join our team. As an Underground Operator 1, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining underground mining equipment, ensuring the safety of all personnel and equipment, and meeting production targets. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be critical to your success in this role. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 2 years of experience operating underground mining equipmentValid driver's license Preferred Qualifications: Experience with remote control equipmentExperience with underground blastingExperience with maintenance and repair of underground mining equipment Responsibilities: Operate and maintain underground mining equipment, including loaders, trucks, and drillsEnsure the safety of all personnel and equipment by following established safety proceduresMeet production targets by working closely with other team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectivelyPerform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performanceMaintain accurate records of equipment performance and maintenance activities Skills: As an Underground Operator 1, you will need to have strong communication skills to work effectively with other team members. You will also need to have excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure that production targets are met. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety are critical to success in this role. Additionally, experience with remote control equipment, underground blasting, and maintenance and repair of underground mining equipment are preferred.
