Job Description

Harlem Hospital Center has been a bedrock of the Harlem community since 1887. The hospital provides a wide range of medical, surgical, diagnostic, therapeutic and family support services to the residents of Central Harlem, West Harlem, Washington Heights and Inwood. All personnel perform related work.Under supervision, with latitude for independent judgment, performs one or more of the following: Examples of Typical Tasks:1. Supervises personnel performing data processing functions in the areas of data entry, data control/coding, production control.2. Under the direction of the unit head, assists in supervising personnel performing responsible clerical and related activities by processing, recording, financial counseling, checking, and maintaining records, furnishing information, and preparing reports.Minimum Qualifications1. A high school diploma or its educational equivalent; and2.
