Perform minor office procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, toenail removal, and orthopedic splinting.Perform physicals such as sports, DOT, pre-employment, and annual.Evaluate patients for workers’ compensation injuries.Qualifications2+ years’ experience in providing patient care as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is preferredMaster’s degree (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) and appropriate state license requiredABMS Board certification in internal medicine or family practice preferredKnowledge of state and federal regulations including OSHA, HIPAA, blood borne pathogens and othersUnderstanding of medical coding and billingDetail-oriented and confident in medical best practicesExcellent interpersonal skills with every patient interactionCompetent with common PC applications including Internet, Email and Microsoft Office as well as EMR applicationsExperience with occupational health practices including DOT qualification, drug testing protocols, employment physicals, and OSHA guidelinesPeachtree Immediate Care is part of the CRH Healthcare system.
