Job Title: Superintendent of Construction Job Description We are seeking a Traveling Construction Superintendent for immediate openings on commercial construction projects nationwide. This role involves overseeing on-site construction activities while actively engaging in hands-on carpentry work. Responsibilities * Oversee and manage on-site construction activities. * Coordinate and manage subcontractors, labor, and materials on the construction site. * Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to project plans. * Perform basic carpentry tasks, including framing, installation/repairs, Misc Metal work, finishing, and repairs. * Collaborate with the project manager to achieve project goals within the specified timeline. * Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members. * Implement and enforce safety protocols on the construction site, actively participating in safety initiatives. * Provide on-site leadership, guidance, and support to the construction team. Essential Skills * Proven experience as a construction site supervisor with hands-on carpentry skills. * Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards. * Ability to lead and coordinate on-site construction activities effectively. * Excellent communication and leadership skills. * Basic understanding of project management principles. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Relevant certifications in carpentry or construction supervision are a plus. * Ability to manage and prioritize tasks while working in a dynamic construction environment. * Experience with construction management software such as Procore.
