Annual Salary: $120k-$140k (Varies depending on years of experience)We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our client s multidisciplinary cardiology team, providing comprehensive care across inpatient and outpatient settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical foundation in cardiovascular health, with a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This role is integral in supporting the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions.Key Responsibilities:Conduct thorough assessments, physical exams, and diagnostics for patients with cardiovascular conditionsManage and monitor patients with heart failure, arrhythmias, coronary artery disease, and post-operative recoveryCollaborate closely with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and hospital staff to ensure seamless patient careProvide consultation and care in both inpatient units (e.g., telemetry, step-down, ICU) and outpatient clinicsEducate patients and families on disease management, medications, and lifestyle modificationsOrder and interpret labs, EKGs, imaging, and other diagnosticsParticipate in care planning, discharge coordination, and transitional care initiativesMaintain clear documentation in the EMR and comply with institutional protocols and evidence-based practicesParticipate in quality improvement and professional development activitiesQualifications:Current NP license and board certification (AGACNP or FNP with relevant experience preferred)Minimum 2 3 years of experience as a nurse practitioner in cardiology or a related acute care settingActive state RN and NP license in good standingStrong clinical decision-making, time management, and communication skillsExperience working in both hospital and ambulatory settings is highly desirableFull-time schedule with rotating coverage across inpatient and outpatient settings Atlas Search is a tri-state area recruitment agency, connecting new graduates, Advanced Practice Providers, Physicians and Nurse Leaders to hospitals, clinics, multi-specialty groups, nursing homes, managed care companies, private practices, and healthcare start-ups.
