This role offers both inpatient and outpatient exposure with a focus on GI and surgical anesthesia. You ll be part of a large, collaborative anesthesia care team composed of CRNAs, attending anesthesiologists, and residents perfect for providers who enjoy complex cases and academic medicine without overnight or call responsibilities. Job Responsibilities Practice Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient (Main OR, Surgery Center, Endoscopy)Patient Population: Ages 13 through end-of-lifeCase Types: General surgical, GI, endoscopy, outpatient anesthesiaCases Not Performed: Open heart, thoracic, OB, and pediatricsModel: Medical direction collaborative anesthesia teamDepartment Overview:30+ ORs in main OR10+ outpatient and offsite surgical locationsDedicated GI rooms and procedure areasCharting System: Epic Qualifications Certification: Board Certified CRNALicensure: Active Virginia license or willingness to obtainCertifications: Valid ACLS & BLS (AHA required)Experience: Minimum 2 years post-training (Level I/II Trauma or academic experience preferred)Vaccinations:Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)COVID vaccine optional Working Hours Contract Length: 13 weeks with options to extendSchedule Options:(4) 10-hour shifts per week, or(3) -hour shifts per weekIncludes 1 rotating Saturday per monthShift Hours: 11:00 AM 11:00 PMCoverage: Scheduled shifts only no call required
