How you'll contribute A Clinic CMA who excels in this role: * Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area or office. * Under the supervision of physician or nurse, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments. * Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. * Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition. Documents patient care given. * Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. * Maintains examination areas. * Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration. * Exhibits exceptional customer service with patients and teammates. * Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. What we're looking for * Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. * • Required Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. * • Minimum Work Experience: One year related experience, preferred. One year clinic experience, preferred. * • Certifications: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA). Basic Life Support (BLS). (Within 30 days of hire). * License: CMA or RMA or CCMA via the AAMA or NHA must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
