01st October, 2025Full-Time Nanny - Chelsea, NYC- Local NYC NANNIES ONLY Loving, Down-to-Earth Family Seeking a Long-Term Nanny for Energetic Toddler and a New Baby Start Date: ASAP Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM (with flexibility) Compensation: $35-$40/hour DOE + guaranteed 50 hours/week + benefits + overtime A kind, creative family in Chelsea is seeking a professional, energetic, and collaborative full-time nanny to care for their sweet 2.5-year-old, almost three (turning 3 in September), and help with a new baby arriving in August. The parents are warm, communicative, and hands-on, looking for a true teammate to grow with their family long-term. The Role: This is a 50-hour/week position with guaranteed pay, offering schedule flexibility in exchange for reliability and support. While the child is in school most mornings, the nanny will still be paid for a full day and should be available for changes due to illness, school closures, or extra coverage as needed. Hours are typically Monday-Friday, with a schedule such as: Monday & Friday: 10:00 AM-6:00 PM Tuesday-Thursday: 10:00 AM-5:30 PM Flexibility for extended evenings or adjusted start times with notice Key Responsibilities: School pickups and full afternoon care for the toddler Planning engaging outings (parks, playdates, local classes) Supporting creative play, imaginative games, and one-on-one bonding Managing child-related tasks (tidying, meal/snack prep, light organization) Occasional care for the newborn in the future, alongside the primary baby nurse Willingness to travel (Massachusetts summer home and occasional trips) Maintaining strong, clear communication with parents The Ideal Candidate: Physically active and able to keep up with a playful, social toddler Genuinely enjoys engaging with young children (getting on the floor, imaginative play, etc.) Emotionally intelligent and communicative, especially with involved parents Flexible, reliable, and collaborative with a team mindset Comfortable navigating the city with children Must love dogs (the family has one very sweet, but vocal pup!)
