As a member of the Emergency Department you will work at one of the top hospital-based social work department were your discipline is immensely respected. Work with and be a part of the multidisciplinary health care team in the Emergency Department (ED). You will participate in comprehensive evaluations, provide psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention as well as discharge planning to pediatric/adolescent patients and their families. Together, we improve the health of patients and their families, making our communities - and the world - stronger.This is a Monday-Friday Evenings (2 PM - 10 PM) shift with rotating weekend/holiday coverage.​Preferred Criteria: Emergency Department experienceExperience in providing direct clinical services to patients and familiesCrisis related experienceExperience providing trauma support to children/adolescents and their families in an outpatient settingsBereavement training/experienceKnowledge of child abuse (recognizing and reporting)Resource connectionFluency in SpanishRequired Criteria Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW)New York State License as a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW)Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
