What you'll be doing:Oversee projects from design conception to construction completion while focusing on meeting budget, timeline and client specificationsLead the team of Architects, Engineers and Interior Designers who manage design development, coordinating construction documents and resolve any issues that may ariseSupport the Principal in Charge in addressing client priorities and maintaining smooth client relationships, while remaining motivated, organized and passionate about projectsAct as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, and consultants on projectsMentor and work closely with junior staff to review their work and support their career developmentWork on multiple projects of varying sizes, providing project management and internal team guidance through every phase of designWhat you need:Bachelor's or Master's degree from an NAAB-accredited institution10+ years of professional architecture experience, with 4+ years of experience working on commercial, institutional, and/or education projectsProfessional licensure requiredProficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and NewformaExperience in project management including consultant coordination, design and construction document preparation, and field observation through construction administrationA desire to work collaboratively with team members in a constructive and engaged manner onsite in our Richmond office Excellent organizational and communication skills with an ability to listen carefully and analyze informationExperience managing/mentoring staff The ability to travel to other Baskervill offices or client project locations as neededWhat we offer:Medical & dental insurance (employee premium 100% funded)Paid parental leave401K matchShort- and long-term disabilityVolunteerism opportunities and supportPaid personal timePaid holiday timePaid floating holidayFlex spending accountSalary commensurate with experience and skillsBaskervill is proud to be an equal opportunity employer M/F/Disability/Veteran, and drug-free workplace.
