The ideal candidate will have a passion for mental health care and providing comprehensive psychiatric services to our short-term rehab and long-term care patients in skilled nursing.Responsibilities:Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessmentsDevelop and implement treatment plans for patients with mental health disordersPrescribe and manage medicationsProvide therapy and counseling to individuals and groups (as needed)Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient careEducate patients and their families on mental health issues and treatment optionsExperience:Skilled nursing facility: 1 year (preferred)PMHNP or psych PA: 1 year (required)Requirements:New York PA or NP license (required)Ideally looking for local candidate, someone who is familiar with traveling in and out of the city Candidates with 1+ years PMHNP experience preferred Work Location: In personExpected compensation based on Fee for service annually $28,000 - $33,957 with no cap productivity income potential.
