The Department of Family Medicine delivers high-quality, patient-centered primary care services with a strong emphasis on medical education at both the undergraduate (UME) and graduate (GME) levels.Opportunity:Seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) Family Medicine for a full-time outpatient positionProvide comprehensive primary and preventative care for patients across the lifespan (pediatrics through geriatrics)Diagnose and manage acute illnesses, infections, and injuries, as well as chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and heart diseaseConduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic testing, prescribe and manage medications, and develop individualized treatment plansCollaborate with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure continuity and coordination of careEducate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, lifestyle modification, and wellness strategiesOpportunities available for teaching and mentorship within the university s medical education programsEMR system utilized across the system for documentation and care coordinationCompensation & Benefits:$125,000 $135,000 annually, commensurate with experienceComprehensive benefits package including:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement plan with employer contributionCME allowance and malpractice coveragePaid time off and holidaysRelocation assistance (if applicable)Eligibility for federal and state loan repayment programs (NHSC and state-specific)
