Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine Join our dedicated team in Houston, Texas, where you can make a real difference in the lives of Veterans. We are looking for General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. Our facilities are fully equipped to support your work in a collaborative environment focused on quality care. Job Responsibilities: Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments. Perform interviews with Veterans, including physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing. Complete required documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions. Work on a PRN basis, with options for half-day (4 hours) and full-day (8 hours) shifts. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as necessary. Maintain a respectful and compassionate approach to all patients. Qualifications: Proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions. Possess a current and unrestricted Texas nursing license. AANP certification required. Must have own office space to meet with Veterans if not working at a facility. Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine preferred. License and Certification Requirements: Active and unrestricted nursing license in Texas. AANP certification is mandatory.
