Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine Join a dedicated team serving our nation's Veterans in beautiful Houston, New York. As a General Medicine Provider, you will play a vital role in conducting Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. With various coverage options available, including the opportunity to work from your own office, this position is designed for flexibility and impact. Job Responsibilities: Offer Compensation & Pension exams, primarily interview-based with some physical assessments. Conduct Separation Health Assessments on a PRN basis. Ensure accurate reporting of exam outcomes, including necessary addendums. Engage in quick credentialing and onboarding processes. Maintain all required training and perform initial exams effectively. Work half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) shifts as needed. Qualifications: Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions. Ownership of a laptop (no Apple products). AANP certification required. Active and unrestricted nursing license in New York. Willingness to complete DMA training for certification. Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or general medicine preferred.
