Job Opportunity: Locum Nurse Practitioner in General Medicine Join a dedicated team committed to serving our nation's veterans! We are seeking General Medicine Providers to conduct Compensation & Pension Exams and Separation Health Assessments in beautiful Houston, WA. This opportunity allows you to work in a supportive environment where your skills will directly benefit those who have served our country.As a Nurse Practitioner in this role, you will be responsible for: Conducting PRN Compensation & Pension exams, including separation health assessments. Performing primarily interview-based evaluations with some physical assessments such as range of motion testing and muscle strength testing. Completing required documentation and submitting reports, inclusive of any addendums. Working flexible hours including options for days (4 hours) and full days (8 hours). Collaborating with a team focused on quick credentialing and onboarding. Maintaining an office within a 50-mile radius of the city. Qualifications: Active and unrestricted full nurse practitioner license in Washington. AANP certification. Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions. Ownership of a laptop (non-Mac/Apple products). Willingness to complete DMA training to become DMA certified. Familiarity with general medicine, with experience in compensation and pension evaluations preferred. License and Certification Requirements: Active Nurse Practitioner license in Washington.
