PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: No REQUIRED PROCEDURESSuturing / Wound Care / Incision & DrainageSplintingReading X-rays / EKGsDrawing bloodPediatric careWorking independently in urgent care setting JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active Connecticut license requiredBoard certification requiredDEABLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS preferredOthe qualifications: case logs and procedure history for past 12 months; Must indicate number of patients seen per 12-hour shift and last performed proceduresExperience: Experience in urgent care and/or emergency medicine required; experience managing full 12-hour shifts; must be able to travel 45+ minutes and adjust to schedule/site changes, local providers preferred (no flights provided). DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide independent urgent care across various Connecticut countiesFlex between multiple clinic sites within a single shift as neededDeliver timely and high-quality care to a range of patients, including pediatric through geriatricPerform minor procedures such as suturing, splinting, and reading imaging studiesCollaborate with scheduling team to meet dynamic staffing needs
