A non-profit in New York City is currently seeking an experienced, licensed Supervising Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their staff. About the Opportunity:Schedule: Monday to FridayHours: 6:15am - 1:45pmCall: Light rotated callResponsibilities:The Nurse Practitioner Supervisor (NP) will: Perform physical exams, diagnose substance use disorders, provide medications for opioid use disorder and hepatitis C Provide primary care services to a subset of patients, order/review lab tests, respond to medical emergenciesSupervise lead nurse and nursing team; provide oversight of their dispensing of medication and DEA reportingAssist medical director in development of nursing protocols, policies and procedures Identify problems and potential improvements in treatment process and enlist interest and support of other staff Perform other duties, as assignedQualifications:3 years of experience working as a registered nurse with supervisory experienceActive DEA registrationNYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
