Physician Assistant or APRN w/ RNFAStart Date: ASAPSchedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 a.m. 3:30 p.m., with flexibility to stay later when cases run overHours: 32 clinical hours + 8 administrative hours per week (40 hours total)Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Advanced Practice Provider to join our orthopedic service line. The APP will provide comprehensive orthopedic care across the operating room, inpatient, and clinic settings in collaboration with orthopedic surgeons and the care team.Key ResponsibilitiesFirst-assist in orthopedic surgical casesParticipate in inpatient rounding and ongoing patient managementProvide outpatient clinic care, including pre- and post-operative visits and general orthopedic follow-upCollaborate closely with surgeons, nursing staff, and other APPs to ensure high-quality, coordinated careComplete documentation, orders, and communication during dedicated administrative timeWorkload & TeamAverage patient volume: 20 patients per dayTeam composition: 4 APPs in the orthopedic divisionCall RequirementsNo OR callPractice call (phone only): approximately 1:4 weekday and weekend coverageQualificationsLicensed Physician Assistant or APRN with RNFA certificationOrthopedic and/or surgical first-assist experience strongly preferredStrong clinical assessment, procedural, and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamFlexibility to extend hours as needed when surgical cases run over scheduleInterested candidates should submit a CV and brief cover letter outlining relevant orthopedic and surgical experience.
