MUSC Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Primary Care team. The APP will provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population, with a focus on occupational medicine and employee health. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs. Occupational Health Perform occupational health evaluations and screenings.Manage occupational injuries and illnesses, ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.Collaborate with employers to develop and implement workplace wellness programs and health policies.Conduct workplace visits and on-site health assessments as needed. Collaboration and Partnership Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.Develop and maintain partnerships with university departments, local healthcare providers, and community organizations.Engage in research and quality improvement initiatives related to occupational health and student wellness. Administrative Duties Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and care plans.Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.Participate in the development of clinic policies and procedures.Contribute to the training and mentorship of students and staff. Ability to bend at the waist, kneel, climb stairs, reach in all directions, fully use both hands and legs, possess good finger dexterity, perform repetitive motions with hands/wrists/elbows and shoulders, reach in all directions. Ability to be qualified physically for respirator use, initially and as required. Maintain 20/40 vision corrected, see, and recognize objects close at hand and at a distance, work in a latex safe environment and work indoors.
