Locum Tenens CRNA - Southeast Alaska Location: Southeast AlaskaJob Type: 1099 Locum Tenens ContractDate Range: April 6, 2026 and ongoing Compensation: Hourly Rate: $250.00 (guarantee of at least 10 hours per day for each day scheduled to be in clinic)Call-Back Hourly Rate: $250.00 (minimum of 1-hour payment for any call-back to the facility)On-Call Hourly Rate: $50.002 paid travel days (1 arrival, 1 departure)Schedule: Orientation provided week 1 and no call for at least 2 weeks.6 weeks on/ 3 weeks off 9 week blocks (2 weeks of call, 4 weeks of Tus-Friday, 3 weeks off) Tues-Friday - Call weeks - (average call back approx 10-15hrs/week) Responsibilities: Independent practice model Patient Volume: Averages 30 cases per weekCall-Back: Averages 10 hours per weekStaffing Mix: Traditional hospital staffingDuties Involve Both Adult and Pediatrics - peds only (ENT, minor ortho, dental)Specialties Serviced by Anesthesia:Surgical Specialties : endo, general surgery, ortho, ENT, podiatry, OB/Gyn, Dental; no planned high-risk cases OB Anesthesia: OB labor epidurals/scheduled c-sections/rare emergent c-section; approx. 8 deliveries a month with about 70% epidural rate; low-risk deliveries only Pain Management & Nerve Blocks: Interscalene, supraclavicular, axillary, Fascia Illiaca, femoral, PENG, adductor canal, popliteal; no chronic pain procedures; flexible regarding block experience Scope of Practice in ICU: aid with intubations on floor/code response, occasional blocks/sedation in ED for procedures, flexible regarding central line placement/experience Emergency response: CRNAs respond Code Blues /Traumas only Patients are often Medevac'd in and out Position Requirements: Active Alaska State Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) licenseActive BLS, ACLS, PALSATLS, ALSO, NRP, STABLE preferred, but not requiredAdult and Pediatric experienceMust be culturally sensitive and willing to embrace the native community and their culture Additional Details: Medical Malpractice Insurance: Provided at no cost to youTravel & Housing: Provided at no cost to youMeaningful Work: Serve a deserving community with critical healthcare services$1000.00 Referral Bonus for referring a CRNA that fills this position
