Job Description Bishop Spencer Place, Kansas City's premier non-profit Life Care retirement community, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Skilled Nursing Facility.Position Details: Registered Nurse (RN) - Wound CareSchedule: Monday to FridayNo Weekends or Holidays Required WCC - Wound Care Certification preferred but not required to start.Key Responsibilities:Evaluating new and continuing residents for wounds and skin alterationsNotifying physician and Nurse Supervisor of wound changesImplementing orders and providing treatments to heal woundsIdentifying wound types and providing education to other nursing staffDocumenting wound status and treatment interventionsConsulting with residents, family members, and physicians in planning the resident's care, treatment, and rehabilitationProviding other direct nursing care as necessaryParticipating in QAPI activities including participation in annual survey preparation and survey process, and maintenance of CMS standards.
