Job Title: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join an experienced NICU team across multiple healthcare facilities in the vibrant Kansas City, Missouri metro area. The system includes a 49-bed Level-IIIB NICU and a 15-bed Level-IIIA NICU, as well as one Level-II NICU and well-baby coverage. Saint Luke s Hospital, a regional perinatal referral center, facilitates over 460 admissions annually and offers comprehensive neonatal care in a collaborative environment. With initiatives like the NICU Family Support program and advanced monitoring technology, we prioritize family-centered care and the overall experience of NICU families. Newly graduated Nurse Practitioners are encouraged to apply! Job Responsibilities: Provide high-quality neonatal care in a multi-facility NICU environment. Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the unit's functioning. Participate in educational programs aimed at enhancing clinical skills. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care. Support families through the NICU Family Support program. Mentor and assist in the transition of new graduates from student NNP to novice NNP. Qualifications: Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (no other NP certifications accepted). Minimum of a Master s Degree in Nursing. Demonstrated commitment to family-centered care. Strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. New graduates are welcome to apply. License and Certification Requirements: Current APRN national specialty certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. Active Missouri License (or willingness to obtain). DEA registration (must be obtained prior to starting).
