We are seeking an experienced Locum Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Emergency Medicine. Job Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, working independently. Conduct thorough assessments of patients presenting with various medical conditions. Collaborate with a supervising physician available for consultation as needed. Manage an average caseload of 20 patients per day. Utilize Cerner EHR effectively for documentation and patient management. Respond to house codes and emergencies as part of the ED team. Participate in transfer protocols to nearby referral centers. Adhere to hospital bylaws and ensure timely responses to patient needs. Qualifications: Board Certified NP or PA in Emergency Medicine. Strong clinical skills with extensive Emergency Department experience. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Clean background for quick credentialing. Demonstrated competency in managing acute patients. License and Certification Requirements: Active Michigan license (no IMLC accepted). Current ACLS and PALS certifications.
