JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Owatonna/Faribault/Minneapolis, MN • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Coverage Type: Clinical + Call • Coverage Period: 03/09/2026 Ongoing • Clinical Shift Schedule: Variable day shifts including 8, 10, 12, and 16 hours depending on site and assignment • On-Call Shift Schedule: PM and weekend beeper call as scheduled; optional call opportunities at select sites • Call Type: Beeper Call • Call Response Time: 30 minutesCOVERAGE DATES • Start date: March 9, 2026 • Ongoing coverage needsPATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics • Admissions: Surgical and procedural cases as scheduled and emergent • Case Mix: General anesthesia, obstetrics, ENT, and specialty surgical casesFACILITY INFORMATION • Trauma Level: Adult Level III / IV • EMR System: Epic • Office Equipment Available: Standard anesthesia equipment • Specialty Backup Available: Anesthesiologists and surgical teams on site • Support Staff Available: Anesthesia aids, nursing staff, and surgical support teams • Reason for Coverage: Supplemental and ongoing locum coveragePRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Credentialing Timeline: Approximately days depending on site • Fingerprinting Required: Yes; results must be posted prior to privileges being grantedREQUIRED PROCEDURES • General anesthesia administration • Obstetric anesthesia including epidurals and VBAC/TOLAC coverage where applicable • Regional anesthesia including TAP blocks and peripheral blocks • Pediatric and adult anesthesia servicesJOB REQUIREMENTS • Licenses: Active Minnesota CRNA license required • Board: NBCRNA certification required • Certifications: BLS and ACLS required • Experience: Minimum of 1 year CRNA experience required • Other Qualifications: Strong OB experience required for call; ability to work in supervised and unsupervised models; Epic charting experience requiredDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide anesthesia care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients across multiple facilities • Administer anesthesia for elective, emergent, and obstetric cases • Participate in scheduled shifts and rotating call coverage as assigned • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff • Document anesthesia care accurately and timely in the EMR • Comply with hospital policies, credentialing requirements, and quality standards
