They need a BC NP or PA for adult patients, ideally someone with neuro ICU experience who can independently place arterial lines and central lines (IJ and femoral). Coverage is needed for six months starting once privileged (privileging takes about 120 days), with either a 3-days-one-week/4-days-the-next rotation or a 7-on/7-off schedule, working 7 p.m.-7 a.m., Sunday through Saturday. The provider will see 18-20 patients per shift, with admissions varying, and call is concurrent with the worked shift. They will work alongside physicians, with anesthesia support available.
