Ref #: C-LPN-We're looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join a team in Franklin, NH on a 14-week, local contract. This is a night shift role (07:00 PM-07:30 AM), starting ASAP. Pay is $1,202 per 36-hour week.What you'll need:Active, valid LPN license for the stateCurrent BLS certificationWhat you'll be doing:You'll provide hands-on nursing care under RN or physician guidance-everything from medication administration and wound care to vital sign monitoring. You'll perform patient assessments (including histories and basic physical checks), help develop individualized care plans, and accurately document changes in condition, treatments, and medications.Other core tasks include:Administering prescribed meds and treatments safely and according to protocolManaging wounds and monitoring for signs of infection or complicationsMonitoring and recording vital signs consistentlyStarting, administering, and monitoring IVs and fluids when requiredCaring for urinary catheters (insertion, maintenance, and surveillance for issues)Collecting specimens (blood, urine, sputum) for lab testingAssisting with positioning, mobility, comfort, and pain managementResponding to emergencies and providing basic life support as neededFollowing strict infection control practices and proper PPE useSafely handling, storing, and disposing of medications and suppliesEducating patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-carePromoting preventive care like vaccinations and screeningsAdvocating for patients and coordinating with RNs, physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure seamless careOccasionally supervising CNAs or unlicensed assistive personnel, when applicableKeeping skills and knowledge current through ongoing education and trainingOther duties as assigned by managementIf you're a dependable LPN who values clear documentation, patient advocacy, and teamwork, this could be a great fit.
