Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine Join our passionate team of General Medicine Providers in Houston, Idaho! You will perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for our nation's Veterans in a supportive environment. VES is dedicated to improving the health of veterans and making a real impact in their lives. This position offers flexible coverage options depending on your preferences. Job Responsibilities Conduct non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments. Perform primarily interview-based evaluations alongside some physical assessments (e.g., range of motion testing, muscle strength testing). Complete quick credentialing and onboarding. Work on a PRN basis, with options for half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) shifts. No prescribing or treatment responsibilities. Administrative tasks such as addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics (included in the daily rate). Qualifications Proficiency in METs testing and experience in evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions. Possession of a laptop (no Mac/Apple products). AANP certification is required. Active and unrestricted full license. Willingness to complete DMA training to become DMA certified. Current home address must be listed for presentation purposes. License and Certification Requirements State License: Must possess an active Idaho Nurse Practitioner license.
