The facilities operations team at Analog Devices is currently seeking a senior-level Space Planner to support strategic space planning and maintain the facilities extensive documentation library in Wilmington, MA. This role will be based out of Wilmington, MA; however, will support the Chelmsford facilities as well. This roles will require full time onsite presence and is not available for a remote status.The role requires a senior-level space planner, capable of solving strategic space forecasting utilization and capacity at the various sites that encompass over 1.3 million square feet. The candidate will collaborate with business unit leaders and facilities leadership. They will play a leading role in defining standards and process requirements for the space planning program and documentation library. The candidate will support ADI’s environmental and sustainability goals from a facility’s operational perspective. This role reports to the Director of Facilities Operations.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign and DevelopmentLead and execute the strategic space planning for all sites in Wilmington and Chelmsford. Review and revise standards and guidelines for the process.Project ManagementOversee small projects via planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure project completed within specifications, on-time, and within budget.LeadershipManage CADD technician by providing technical guidance and support.Technical DocumentationReview, edit and maintain facilities as-built drawings, technical and equipment turn-over documentation, reports, design schematics, standard operation procedures and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).Maintain documentation library and drawings.Compliance and StandardsMaintain maintenance schedules and asset locations.Provide quarterly space utilization metrics and reports.Maintain facility site employee seating and office locations.CollaborationWork closely with business unit leaders and stakeholders to ensure their forecasted growth plans are met.TroubleshootingIdentify and resolve complex space utilization and/or project constraints for office and laboratory spaces, by leveraging established relationships and resources effectively.Ensure safe practices are leveraged by contractors and technicians when executing project work.Driving sustainable methods for operation to conserve utility resources aligning to ADI’s Global Engineering initiatives.Minimum QualificationsBS degree in Business Administration or Engineering discipline.Three (3) years or more experience in supporting large facility sites for space planning and documentation library.Proficient in AutoCAD with developing, editing and maintaining facility drawings and as-builts.Must be proficient with MS Office products; MS Project, Excel (formulas & charts) and MS Power Point.Must be able to read and comprehend architectural drawings, schematics (mechanical/electrical) and P&IDs.Candidate needs to be self-motivated, safety oriented, have good people skills, be able to multi-task and enjoy working in a fast-paced / fluid environmentCandidate needs to be thorough and driven to continuously improve systems and processes.Strong presentation and technical documentation skillsStrong organizational skills and the ability to work and lead a team to aggressive schedules.Preferred Skills, Knowledge and AbilitiesExperience with semiconductor Facilities.Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS), Siemens (Insight/Apogee/Desigo) building operations & programming.Experience with work order CMMS management systems EAM and FiiX.Experience with Serraview space planning software.For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
