This role focuses on delivering high-quality, evidence-based care for acute, episodic, and select chronic conditions while promoting health, wellness, and disease prevention in a diverse student population.Responsibilities include:Conducting comprehensive health histories and physical examinationsDiagnosing conditions and developing treatment plansOrdering and interpreting diagnostic testsPrescribing medications and therapiesProviding routine gynecologic exams, Pap smears, and STI evaluationEvaluating pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, and vaginal symptomsContraceptive counseling and managementDelivering patient education on diagnoses, treatment options, medications, preventive care, immunizations, sexual and reproductive health, and self-care strategiesCollaborating with physicians, nursing staff, mental health providers, and campus partnersMaking appropriate referrals and managing follow-up careEnsuring accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health recordThe FNP practices with a high degree of clinical autonomy within established scope-of-practice guidelines while maintaining a strong focus on patient-centered care, clinical safety, and timely access to services.RequirementsBoard Certified or truly Board Eligible Family Nurse PractitionerExperience with women's health and primary care strongly preferredReferral OpportunityKnow someone who may be a good fit?
